My interest in drawing began at an early age with parent and sibling encouragement. Throughout my education my focus on art helped cushion the demands of all of the other mandatory subjects. In all of the formative years I was fortunate to have had very professional guidance and inspiration. It all let to a career that lasted 40 years and provided my need to be involved in the creative process.
Now, being retired and living on the edge of the continent I am presented with an endless array of nature's ever changing miracles to paint. In my mind there is nothing more challenging.
An artistic high is in creating your own vision and finding someone who shares that vision. The search never ends.
